Was riding with a buddy who has an 87 Cavalcade. He lost his clutch and I saw fluid dripping from where I'd imagine the slave cylinder is. I'm guessing he blew the seal out of it. We removed the chrome cover but I couldn't actually identify the slave cylinder. I could see the bleeder, but on the side of the road....dirty parts....hot engine...I couldn't pinpoint the slave cylinder.

We were able to get the bike home without the clutch....He's not very mechanical, so I thought I"d try to help him out. I typically get around this stuff pretty well, but know nothing about these bikes. Anyone have pics?

Hi, if you want to take off the slave cylinder you have to take off the secondary gear. The slave cylinder is visible from the outside of the secondary gear but it is bolted on from the inside of the secondary gear. Chat image
